At Algoma Christian, we understand that God made us for fellowship. From the very first man and woman, God intended for people to live together in community. With our diverse community of children, adults, parents, and grandparents, we have learned to celebrate in diverse ways throughout the school year. Below are a few of the special days we enjoy.
MS & HS Fall Service DaysMiddle School and High School students have two service days, one in the fall and one in the spring.
These service days give ACS students an opportunity to help with a variety of projects at non-profit organizations in the fall and local churches in spring. |

MS & HS Student RetreatsSecondary students take time in the first week of school to spend time reconnecting with one another and being challenged to fix their eyes on Jesus, the Author and Finisher of their faith. Middle school students typically have a one-day retreat. The students come together, and the new year gets started with the right priorities. |

Pastor's DayTypically held at the end of September, Pastors are invited to enjoy a meal with us and see what ACS is all about. It is a time when we can honor the support our pastors give to our families and the school, and it gives our pastors a chance to see the young people from their churches.

Grandparents DayOur grandparents are some of our strongest supporters.
Each year in October, Grandparents are welcome for an afternoon program to honor them. After an elementary performance and refreshments, they welcomed to spend time at school with their grandchildren. It's a wonderful time for all. |
Elementary Christmas Program
The Christmas program provides a great opportunity to showcase our students' many talents. The program is preceded by music performed by our secondary band students. Upper elementary students provide the main cast of performers, and they are accompanied in song by the remainder of the elementary children.
Homecoming Spirit WeekHomecoming is a great time to welcome back alumni and friends to celebrate what God is doing at ACS.
Spirit Week is filled with all kinds of fun as students dress up differently each day and work on lib-dubs to present on Friday afternoon. The week concludes with the Varsity Girls and Varsity Boys basketball teams taking on a league competitor on Friday evening. |

GraduationAt the end of 12 years (or more!), students are equipped to tackle the world. Few things are more satisfying than the sense of achievement that comes from reaping the reward of long years of hard work and study. Graduation is a time for the whole school to celebrate the fruit of our labor together.
